On Veterans Blvd in Massapequa, Lodge #2162 has built something that most organizations only talk about: a place where people actually show up for each other. Members have watched kids grow up here, celebrated marriages in the banquet hall, and gathered on Friday dance nights that regulars keep coming back to year after year. The 4.8-star rating across 48 reviews is not an accident. It reflects a culture where the staff remembers your name and the events actually deliver.

The Lodge's commitment to the community runs deep. Every year, the membership hosts a special needs school party that families describe as one of the highlights of their child's year. That kind of event does not happen by accident. It takes members who care enough to organize, fund, and show up. That is the Elks way, and Lodge #2162 lives it on Long Island's South Shore.

If you have never walked through these doors, the easiest way to understand what happens here is to come on a Friday evening. The room fills, the music plays, and for a few hours Massapequa feels a little smaller and a lot friendlier.

What We Offer

Catering manager Linda and her team have turned the Lodge's banquet space into one of Massapequa's most talked-about event venues. Wedding receptions for 120 guests, milestone birthday parties, corporate dinners, and memorial gatherings all find a home here, and the consistent praise is that the food is genuinely good and the price does not punish you for celebrating.

Beyond private events, the Lodge runs a full calendar of member programming. Friday night dances draw a loyal crowd every week. Community fundraisers, youth programs, and charitable initiatives keep the membership engaged with the broader South Shore community throughout the year. Veterans' support activities honor the Lodge's long-standing commitment to those who served.

Membership in B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2162 opens the door to all of it, including access to the social hall, discounted event rates, and a network of members who genuinely look out for one another.

Sadly this is our last year because my son is aging out of his school we'll miss this event. The great party they do for the kids feature presents and characters. The members are kind, courteous and truly make this event special. God Bless them!!"

"Great Friday night social dancing only in Massep with DJ Ray. Not a good dance venue for ballroom dancers... But a good time."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
